| I am a second generation psychometrist. My mother
did psychometry and raised me metaphysical, or as a spiritualist for
lack of a better term. I wouldn’t call myself a Wiccan,
although I do like a lot of things about the Wiccan religion. I also
like and use a lot of things to do with shamanism, native American
religions as well. So I guess spiritualist is a broad enough term to
define me as far as the religion thing is concerned.
My mother started doing psychometry in 92 or 93,
and I had at the time had one of those emotional crisis' that force
you to get back to the basics such as religion, and since I was so
miserable I started looking for something else to help me get
through it. That is when I started searching on the metaphysical
thing again, and I bought a deck of tarot cards. I would read
for anyone and everyone who would let me until I learned the deck. I
came home to OKC and visited my mother and was doing a card reading
“just” interpreting the cards, and she said don’t read the cards
read the energy on the cards, and I thought hmm maybe I can do
psychometry too. So I started doing it.
At the time, all I got was just the past, but then
as I kept at it I started getting past and present, then all of the
sudden I started getting future events as well. But that did not
happen immediately; it was like I had to develop the talent. And I
honestly I wondered for a while if I was ever going to be able to
get future things, but it did eventually happen. I had a rather
bizarre experience in the morgue of the hospital where I was
working. My mother later told me that she thinks that is when my
abilities truly opened up, and I kind of came into my own in the
psychic sense.
